Streaming Tab Closer Privacy Policy

Streaming Tab Closer reads tab URLs and navigation source information through Chrome extension APIs to identify new tabs opened by sites you choose to watch. It uses that information on your device to close those tabs. It does not save full browsing URLs.

The hostnames you watch and the extension's On setting are saved in Chrome Sync storage. Chrome may sync these preferences across your signed-in browsers according to your Chrome settings. The number of tabs closed is kept only in Chrome's session storage and resets with the browser session.

The extension does not send browsing information to a developer-operated server. It has no analytics, advertising, account system, or data sale. It does not share your information with third parties through its own code. Chrome's storage and sync services are operated by Google.

You can stop monitoring with the On switch, remove watched hostnames in the popup, or uninstall the extension. Removing a watched hostname updates the synced preference.

Streaming Tab Closer uses information received from Chrome APIs only to provide its tab-closing feature and follows the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
